Bonita Beach Dog Beach

To the north of Naples, you’ll find Bonita Beach Dog Beach. You can bring your pet to the only dog beach in the area where dogs can be off-leash. Found between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Beach, this beach is recognized by the parks and recreation of Lee County, but it offers no amenities or facilities. There are a few rules. You have to be at least 15 years old in order to bring your dog and you can’t bring more than two. Children who are under five can’t go into the area where dogs are allowed off-leash. Non-spayed, non-neutered, sick or aggressive dogs aren’t allowed on the beach and the beach is open between dawn and dusk.

Even though dogs don’t have full reign at this park, your dog will be able to go and frolic in the water. It’s also conveniently found in northern Naples. Even though you’re not allowed to walk a dog on the beach even if it’s on the leash, you’re able to lead the dog to the area where canoes and boats are launched. They can swim in Water Turkey Bay’s water. You’re going to have to wade in as well since you have to keep the dog on their leash all the time. This park’s found off of Gulfshore Drive. You want to go west traveling on Immokalee Road to the coast. You’ll see the beach to your left.
