If tennis is your game, this is the vacation rental for you. The World Tennis Center offers 16 perfectly maintained courts with 12 being lighted: 11 clay (har-tru), and 5 hard courts. On-site facilities include a work-out area and a fully-equipped Pro-shop that will schedule matches for you. Other activities include tennis tournaments, pro exhibition matches, bridge, dinner dances, water aerobics. Relax in the beautiful pool (heated from November to May) with large sun-deck; enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi or take advantage of saunas in the locker rooms. Adjacent to the pool is the French-Caribbean themed Poolside Cafe & Bar offering happy hour, specialty dinners and poolside service for food and beverages. Accommodations are nestled among graceful tropical landscaping in 2-story Mediterranean styled units. The 2 bed, 2 bath condo includes a fully-equipped kitchen, its own washer/dryer, assigned parking space and private balcony with a great view of the lake and grounds. Additional sleeping is available with pull-out cot for two. No pets; No smoking allowed; seven-night minimum stay required.
For nature lovers, a ten-minute drive away is Clam Pass Beach Park, voted one of the 20 best beaches in the US. In addition to the white sand beaches, the park has a 3/4 mile boardwalk along the 35 acres of Florida's protected natural mangrove forests. Also within a ten-minute drive you can take advantage of numerous shopping options in the Fifth Avenue shopping district.
